Skip the expensive beachfront restaurants and walk 5 minutes inland to Mac's Pizzeria or local rum shops where Bequians actually eat. You'll pay half the price for authentic local food, and many places will let you bring takeaway back to the beach if you buy drinks from the beach bars.

You'll have this stunning crescent of white sand almost entirely to yourself, plus the light is perfect for photos with the Grenadines in the background.
Instead of buying expensive drinks at the beachfront bars, walk 5 minutes inland to Knight's Supermarket in Lower Bay village where locals shop. Pick up cold beers and sodas at half the beach price, and they don't mind if you bring your own drinks to enjoy on the public sections of the beach.
